Advertiser Terms

Last updated 3 August 2026. These are the standing terms for businesses carrying Cross Brand Media offers. Specific commercial terms are agreed with each advertiser in writing before anything goes live.

What an advertiser is

An advertiser is a business that places a tracked link to one or more of our offers in front of its own audience. Advertisers include ecommerce stores, publishers, newsletters and service businesses. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, a partnership in the legal sense, or an agency between us.

What it costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to join and no minimum volume. You may remove your link at any time. Where an offer carries exclusivity, that is set out in the written agreement we sign with you before it goes live.

How you are paid

You are paid on completed conversions, not on clicks and not on leads. A conversion completes when the customer completes the installation, activation or other qualifying event defined for that offer.

Providers in these categories operate cancellation and guarantee windows. Conversions are held in a pending state from the moment they are reported until that window closes, and become payable afterwards. You will be able to see the status of every conversion attributed to you. Exact rates, windows and payment timing are confirmed with you in writing before your link goes live.

Reversals

If a conversion is reversed by the provider before it becomes payable, it is not paid. We do not claw back amounts already paid to you.

How you may promote offers

You may place your link anywhere you already reach your own audience, including your website, email list, newsletter, social channels and printed materials. You may not use paid search on the advertiser's brand terms, send unsolicited messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you, misrepresent the offer or its terms, or present the offer as your own product or service.

You must not alter the approved consent language on any page that captures consumer consent, and you must not place an offer in a context that misleads a consumer about who they are dealing with.

What we handle

Once a consumer follows your link they are the provider's customer. You do not handle the sale, the installation, the servicing or customer support, and you do not process payments or refunds.

Attribution

Attribution is carried in the tracked link issued to you. We are responsible for maintaining that tracking. Conversions that cannot be attributed to an advertiser are not payable.

Confidentiality and publicity

Commercial terms are confidential between us. We do not publish advertiser names or put an advertiser into market as a reference without written permission, and we ask the same of you regarding our partners.

Ending the relationship

Either side may end the relationship at any time. You may remove your link whenever you like. We may remove an offer or end an advertiser relationship where placement or traffic quality falls short, where these terms are breached, or where a partner withdraws an offer. Conversions already completed and outside their cancellation window remain payable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Changes that materially affect existing advertisers will be communicated directly before they take effect.
